SUMVAC 2010

This date, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director deployed fire trucks provincewide at strategic points in relation to OPLAN Summer Vacation SUMVAC 2010.

Also, CALABARZON Startoll and the National Highway were plotted with fire trucks from Sto. Tomas to Batangas City to assist motorist and other eventualities.

Meanwhile, OPD-Batangas (SUPT PALICPIC, FO3 Aranda, FO1 Laloon, FO1 Batac, FO1 Besiño, and FO1 Dinglasan) conducted monitoring system on the said occassion.

However, Inspection Team from BFP Regional Headquarters 4A, spearheaded by SUPT JOSEPITO G ALBOS BFP, visited fire stations provincewide in vew of SUMVAC 2010 in the Province of Batangas.

BISA Meeting

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC MPA (DSC), the Batangas BFP Provincial Director with FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda BFP, Provincial Admin-NCO, attended the meeting at Kepco Ilijan Power Plant at Batangas City conducted by the Batangas Industrial Security Alliance, Inc.

Topics discussed the RA 9514 and the importance of FALAR before, during, and after construction of an establishment.

Member agencies like the Armed Forces of the Phlippines and the Philippine National Police attended.

Urban Fire Olympics 2010

This date, the Batangas BFP participated the Annual Urban Fire Olympics held at PNTI Grounds, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City, Laguna.

With SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, MPA (DSC), Batangas BFP Provincial Director, the team gained BEST in UNIFORM.

Also, the Batangas BFP gained Third Place on Event 2 Wild Hose Recovery (BFP Uniformed Personnel Category) with SRINSP NONILON L MACASADIA BFP as Team Leader.

Brgy 3, Lipa City Fire Incident

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC MPA DSC, BFP Provincial Director with FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda and FO1 Gerard D Mendoza, responded to a fire call at Barangay 3, Lipa City, were the fire engulfed 8 houses on or about 8 o'clock this morning.

About six(6) BFP fire trucks from different cities and municipalitites came and have engaged through fire fighting that reached third alarm.

Fire trucks from other municipalitites as well as volunteer fire brigades arrived for further assistance but were not able to perform fire fighting due to the declaration of fire out from SRINSP VON FERDINAND S NICASIO, City Fire Marshal of Lipa City Fire Station.

PD Meeting

This date, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director attended the meeting on the upcoming Regional Urban Fire Olympics (UFO) 2010 at BFp Regional Headquarters 4A on or about 9 o'clock in the morning.

Topics discussed were Events and Event Mechanisms. Entries from different Province of CALABARZON ranges from Barangay to Industrial Categories asides from the usual BFP (Uniformed) Categories.

The Regional UFO will commence this 25th of March 2010 at the grounds of PNTI, Camp VicenteLim, Calamba City, Laguna.

Fire Incident at Bolbok, Lipa City

On or about 1PM this date, a fire broke at Bolbok, Lipa City....

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, MPA DSC, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director responded along with SRINSP VON FERDINAND S NICASIO BFP, City Fire Marshal of Lipa City Fire Station..

FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda BFP, OPD-Batangas BFP, assisted SRINSP VON FERDINAND S NICASIO BFP subdue the fire as FO3 Aranda pushed and pulled a 50lb dry chemical within the involved establishment.

FO2 Noel I Laloon BFP, also from OPD-Batangas BFP, assisted the BFP Personnel of Lipa City Fire Station. They situated at the otherside of the establishment.

Fire Prevention Month

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, MPA DSC, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director, attended the Regional kick-off ceremony on Fire Prevention Month at Cavite. FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda BFP, FO2 Noel I Laloon BFP joined-in as well as the Fire Marshals of Batangas BFP .

Other BFP personnel of Batangas attended the kick-off ceremony at UP Diliman.
