Meeting with the Batangas Provincial Governor

Last February 6, 2013, the Office of the Provincial Governor held a meeting to all PPOC and PDRRMC meeting at Bulwagan Batangan, Provincial Capitol, Batangas City.

The topic discussed details in the upcoming Election 2013, distribution of Police Patrol Cars, and other.

Present thereat, are Municipal Mayors, DILG representatives, AFP, PNP, and the Bureau of Fire Protection Staff.

OPLAN IWAS SUNOG 2013

Theme:
"SUNOG AT SAKUNA PAGHANDAAN, KALIKASAN AY PANGALAGAAN NANG MATAMASA ANG PAG-UNLAD NG BAYAN"

The month of March is declared as Fire Prevention Month by virtue of Presidential Proclamation No 115-A based on the alarming rate of fire incidents nationwide during this period.

In this context, the BFP prepares Program of Activities for the implementation of CY 2013 Fire Prevention Month, to include:

1.  Creation of Steering Committee - who shall organize, supervise, and monitor the event.
2.  A Walk for a Fire-Free and Fire-Safe Nation on March 1, 2013 at exactly 4 AM
3.  Fire Olympics for different city and municipal fire stations
4.  Intensified Fire Safety Awareness through posting of streamers/ banners with the above theme.
5.  Ugnayan sa Barangay
6.  Open House - a three (3) day open-house on all fire stations inviting school children
7.  Art Contest - through submission of entries for the following categories:
                a.  Drawing Contest for Elementary Students
                b.  Poster-Making and Essay-Writing Contest for High School Students
                c.  Photo Contests open to all.
8.  Fire Safety Propagation
9.  Fire Truck visibility

Strategic Planning & Management Workshop

Last December 4 and 5 2012, the BFP Regional Headquarters 4A conducted Workshop on Strategic Planning and Management.

Spearheaded by CSUPT NIMFA D CUARTEL, BFP Regional Director, the two (2) day seminar was held at the Conference Room, BFP Regional Headquarters 4A, Camp Vicente Lim, Calamba City.

It tackled the Major Final Output 1 - 5.

PPOC and PDRRMC Joint Meeting

This 22nd day of November 2012, the Office of the Governor conducted joint meeting to all Provincial Peace and Order Council (PPOC) and Provincial Disaster Risk-Reduction Management Committee (PDRRMC).

Spearheaded by HON GOV VILMA SANTOS-RECTO, the meeting was held at Batangas City Capitol where election-related matters were discussed as well as the participation of all government and private sectors.

Present therein are BFP (SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, SFO1 Mario Neil Aranda, FO2 Emilio A Batac), PNP, BJMP, AFP, Coast Guards, Municipal Mayors, and other distinguished guests.

Admin Meeting re: PES and Leave Mgt and Approval

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, Batangas BFP Provincial Director, instructed SFO1 Mario Neil A Aranda to conduct meeting to all ADMIN-NCO Batangas BFPwide in consonance to the recently held Seminar at BFP Regional Headquarters 4A last October 30, 2012 regarding Performance Evaluation System and Leave Management and Approval.

The two-day meeting (2nd and 4th District - Nov 6, 2012/ 1st and 3rd District - Nov 7, 2012) tackled issues and concerns relative the above.

OPCR (Office Performance Commitment and Review) and IPCR (Individual Performance Commitment and Review) were also discussed.

This 30th October 2012, SFO1 Mario Neil A Aranda BFP, C' HRD/ HRM - Batangas BFP attended the PES Seminar and Leave Management held at the Conference Hall, BFP Regional Headquarters 4A.

Guess Speaker was the Director of CSC Field Office, Laguna Province, Dir Emma Barrera.

PDRRMC Meeting

GOV VILMA SANTOS-RECTO conducted meeting at Mansion House, Batangas City.

SFO1 Mario Neil A Aranda and FO1 Gerard D Mendoza, OPD-Staff attended the meeting this 29th October 2012.

Topic discussed was OPLAN UNDAS this October 31, 2012 - November 4, 2012, the lateral coordination of BFP with PNP and other government agencies during the occasion.

Sounding of Sirens for burial of SILG

This date and in compliance to memorandum dated August 27, 2012 from BFP National Headquarters, all Fire Stations - Batangas BFPwide simultaneously sounded their sirens for sixty (60) seconds during the burial of the Late DILG Jesse M Robredo.

The synchronized execution was done while President Benigno S Aquino is passing the Philippine National Flag to SILG's spouse, Maria leonor Robredo.
