Batangas BFP Fire Prevention Month

This years Fire Prevention Month Theme "Kahandaan sa Sunog... Tungo sa Kaunlaran" was celebrated this day by this province in simultaneous with other province all over the Philippines.

BATANGAS BFP OPD Staff, in coordination with SAN JOSE Fire Station, made rounds with the municipality of San Jose to commemorate the said event.

San Jose PNP together with the Volunteer Fire Brigades also participated.

Regional Fire Prevention Kick-off Ceremony

This day, the BFP Regional Headquarters CALABARZON conducted this year's Fire Prevention Kick-off Ceremony held at Pacific Mall, Lucena City.

The said event was participated by provinces CALABARZON-wide spearheaded by CSUPT NIMFA D CUARTEL, BFP Regional Director R4A.

SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, the Batangas BFP Officers, and selected BFP personnel were among the participants; with Fire Trucks from LIPA CITY Fire Station and SAN JUAN Fire Station convoyed other fire trucks/participants from different provinces.

WINNING ENTRY FOR POSTER, ESSAY, PHOTO, and DRAWING CONTEST

In connection with the upcoming Fire Prevention Month, the province of Batangas conducted contest for Essay, Photo, Drawing, and Poster-Making.

Relative thereto, the creation must jive to CY 2011 Fire Prevention Month Theme "Kahandaan sa Sunog... Tungo sa Kaunlaran".

The contest is open to Elementary and High School Levels (for Essay, Photo, and Drawing Categories) while the Photo Contest is for Amateur photographers.

Names listed below were the chosen entry for the Provincial Level of Batangas which will be send to Regional Headquarters for Regional Competition.

OFFLINE MODE & E-REPORTING SYSTEM

The BFP Regional Headquarters 4A spearheaded by SUPT ROMEL C TRADIO and INSP QUILANG conducted Training/ Workshop on OFFLINE MODE and E-REPORTING SYSTEM which was held at BATANGAS CITY Fire Station.

Before the said Training, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director conducted meeting on all the participants regarding the upcoming UFO 2011.

The Provincial Director also stressed different sections such as ADMIN matters, OPERATION matters, FINANCE matters, and LOGISTICS matters regarding reporting/ submission of the aforementioned with regards to E-REPORTS.

Also mentioned are the Risk-Reduction Management System as well as Memorandum Circular Nr 2011-05 re: Intensifying Fire Safety Enforcement in the BFP and Institutionalizing Standard Processes in the conduct of Inspection and defining Accountabilities of concerned BFP personnel in the inspection and issuance of Fire Safety Inspection Certificate.

PACD Meeting

Today, SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, Batangas BFP Provincial Director, attended the meeting at PACD-Batangas, along with OPD-Staff namely; FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda, FO2 Emilio A Batac, and FO1 Lendl P Palicpic.

The BFP Provincial Director discussed Standard Operating Procedures and the essence of Fire Personnel in relation to rescue operations as well as its mandates.

Also present are CINSP GERANNDIE S AGONOS, City Fire Marshal of BATANGAS CITY Fire Station, and BFP Personnel of BATANGAS CITY Fire Station.

FO2 Carlo Castro conducted brief orientation on Earthquake and Fire Drill which will be held at Provincial Capitol of Batangas this coming MARCH 2011.

The Philippine Red Cross (Batangas Chapter) also discussed rescue operations which will team-up with the Rescue Operations Personnel of BATANGAS CITY Fire Station.

IAS Seminar

The Office of the Provincial Director spearheaded by SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC conducted seminar on Internal Affairs presided by SRINSP VON FERDINAND S NICASIO and SFO4 Fermin G Bundac Jr at SAN JUAN Fire Station.

About twenty-five (25) BFP personnel attended the said seminar which lasted for eight (8) hours.
