Special Emergency Leave affected by Natural Calamities/ Disasters

In reference to Memorandum Circular Nr 2 series 2012, from CSC Chairman Francisco Duque III, dated February 16, 2012, a five (5) day Sspecial Emergency Leave shall be granted to government employees directly affected by natural calamities/ disasters.

Said Special Emergency Leave can be applied for five (5) straight working days or on staggered basis and WILL NOT BE DEDUCTED from employees leave credits.

The leave shall be applied within thirty (30) days from the first day of calamity declaration by proper government agencies/ authorities.

Note:
Affected employees whose leave credits were previously deducted may request for restoration thereof, subject to the approval of head of office.
