Daily Monitoring Report System

As basis on the evaluation of Performance Rating, All fire stations are directed to submit their respective Daily Monitoring Report System thru e-Reporting System by email at opdbatangas@yahoo.com or thru fax at(043)726-3630.

Said report shall reach this office at exactly 0800H the next day.

Physical Fitness Day

In reference to a meeting on all City/ Municipal Fire Marshals/ Officers-in-Charge and Fire Prevention Officers Batangas BFP-wide dated May 19, 2011, the Batangas BFP personnel shall conduct Physical Fitness at their respective AOR every Thursday of the week in compliance to BFP OPLAN SIGLAKAS.

Submission of After Activity Report shall be on Friday with attached pictures.

UNSERVICEABLE FIRE TRUCKS


Provincial Director issued memorandum dated 20 May 2011 regarding unserviceable fire trucks. Fire Stations with unserviceable fire trucks are given timeline to make actions regarding the repair of the aforementioned. In this regard, the Office of the Provincial Director will be constrained to detail BFP personnel to other stations in dire needs of additional manpower.( click on the image to download this memorandum)

Courtesy Call


At around 1300H FBRC Class 2011 - 66 rendered Courtesy Call at the Office of the Provincial Director Batangas-BFP. Salient topics regarding admin and operational matters were discussed.

CFM/MFM/OIC meeting



This date, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director conducted meeting on all City/Municipal Fire Marshals/ Officiers-in-Charge - Batangas BFPwide regarding Intensive Fire Prevention Activities on Educational and Residential Occupancies.

Topics discussed were OPLAN Balik-Eskwela 2011, Programs and Activities for the month of June 2011, launch of Kiddie Fire Marshal, and the ETEEAP (Expanded Tertiary Education Equivalency and Accreditation Program).

ICS Seminar




Last May 13, 2011, the province of Batangas conducted Seminar for the establishment of the Integrated Command System.

Participants include the Batangas BFP City Fire Marshals, Municipal Fire Marshals, Fire Station Officers-in-Charge spearheaded by SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, the Batangas BFP Provincial Director, PNP, as well as other government agencies consisting the Disaster Risk-Reduction Management Councils.

Guest speakers for the Bureau of Fire Protection are SUPT ROMEL C TRADIO, City Fire Marshal of Batangas City Fire Station and CINSP ORLANDO ANTONIO, Chief of Operations Division, BFP Regional Headquarters 4A.

PD visitation


Last May 12, 2011, The Batangas BFP Provincial Director visited the newly designated Batangas City Fire Marshal, SUPT ROMEL C TRADIO at Batangas City Fire Station.

Discussion included the proposed concept of the new Incident Command System for the province of Batangas regarding the Taal Volcano eruption.

PMCC Regular Meeting


SUPT IRENEO P PALICPIC, Batangas BFP Provincial Director, with FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda and FO2 Emilio A Batac, attended the regular meeting of PMCC which was held last May 12, 2011 at PNP Maritime Office, Gate 2, Batangas Port, Batangas City.

Vehicular Accident at KM93, Brgy Malainin, Ibaan, Batangas


Last May 6, 2011, a vehicular accident occurred on or about 0725H at Brgy Malainin, Ibaan, Batangas where a HINO 6 wheeler truck with plate number UJJ-602 containing hydrogen cylinders and Arcal 21 collided to the perimeter fence of KM93 Startollway.

The cause was the bursting of the right front tire while traveling southbound heading Batangas City.

Responders besides the Startollway company, were SFO1 Osmundo Balbastro and Ibaan fire personnel with FO3 Mario Neil A Aranda, OPD-Batangas BFP representative, as well as personnel from LGU utilizing their LGU fire truck and the IBAAN PNP. Everyone conducted quick response and extended necessary assistance to the said incident.

The area was cordoned immediately for possible explosion of combustible cargos. Afterwards, the cylinders were immediately retrieved and handled for proper transport.
